Welcome to GutWise ("the App"), an application operated by Sidewave Digital Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). Your privacy is not just important to us; it is the foundation upon which this App is built. 2. Our Privacy-First Approach: We Collect No Data

GutWise is designed to be a completely private space for you to track your health information. We do not collect, store, use, or have access to any of the data you enter into the App. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Your name, email address, or any other personal identifiers.
• Any health information you log, such as stool characteristics, symptoms, notes, or contextual tags.
• Your device information, IP address, or location data.
• Any usage analytics or crash reports.

3. Data Storage: On-Device and Your Personal iCloud

A. On-Device Storage

All the data you enter into GutWise is stored exclusively and securely on your local device (iPhone or iPad). We do not have servers, and your data is never transmitted to us or any third party.

B. Optional iCloud Backup

You have the option to back up your App data using Apple's iCloud service. This feature is provided for your convenience to allow you to sync data between your devices or restore it if you get a new device.

If you choose to enable iCloud backups, your GutWise data will be stored in your personal iCloud account. This process is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We do not have access to any data stored in your iCloud account. You are in full control of your iCloud data, and you can manage or delete it at any time through your device's iCloud settings.

4. Data Usage and Sharing

Since we do not collect, access, or store your data, we cannot—and do not—use it for any purpose. We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your data to any third parties because we do not possess it.

The data you enter is for your eyes only. Any sharing of this data, such as exporting a PDF or CSV to share with a healthcare provider, is an action initiated and controlled entirely by you.

5. Third-Party Services

GutWise does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only potential third-party involvement is Apple's iCloud service, which is an optional feature controlled by you.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since the App does not collect any personal data from any user, we do not, by extension, collect any data from children.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted.
